Located at 2,304 m above sea level in the Hohe Tauern National Park, Berggasthof Wallackhaus is set on the Großglockner High Alpine Road right next to the ski slope on the Großglockner, Austria’s highest mountain.

The traditionally furnished rooms offer flat-screen satellite TV and a hairdryer.

The Wallackhaus features a winter garden and restaurant with mountain views. In winter, a spa area with a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared cabin can be used by guests. There is also a relaxation room with panoramic mountain views, and the new Sky Bar.

A dry room with a boot dryer and a small workshop are available free of charge for motorcyclists.

In winter, the access road is closed, and the Wallackhaus can only be reached by cable car from Heiligenblut. Arrival and departure by cable car are free of charge for guests.

In summer, the Kärnten Card is included in the rate. This card offers many free benefits and discounts all across Carinthia.
