Ski Resort Velebno

The ski resort Velebno is located in Baška Oštarija. At just 2 kilometers from the ski resort, there is a beautiful sea and island viewpoint. There is a toboggan run along the slopes, and ski equipment can also be rented.

Croatia's most beautiful ski resort, located at 924 meters above sea level in Karlobag, is 12 km from the seaside.

Due to the close "salty" and dry air on the sea, the snow is formed in exquisite shape, roughly the same as in the US on California's territory.

There are two ski trails, 500 m beginner and a slightly more demanding 800 m. Night skiing is possible with a ticket (about 3 euros) on excellent lighted paths.
